I offer an independent, high-integrity approach to problem solving, systems change, and conflict resolution for organizations employing or working with physicians.

As a separate service, I provide coaching and other support to physicians who find themselves in these situations.

Uniquely positioned to help “unstick” situations, I approach each case by first examining the underlying assumptions, bringing in new perspectives, and using these to generate novel solutions.

Blending decades of medical expertise with a passion for coaching individuals to achieve their best, I support physicians and health authorities in:

  • Conducting high-integrity reviews of situations involving physicians where local investigation would be difficult or considered compromised;
  • Investigating problems arising with systems and related issues involving physicians;
  • Investigating, identifying, and resolving professional issues and walking back from conflict, particularly involving physicians;
  • Investigating complaints or allegations;
  • Developing recommendations which are fair, balanced, and give a good chance of successful resolution;
  • Providing a safe and acceptable path forward for all parties involved; and
  • Providing support (coaching and in-the-moment support with navigating difficult situations) to physicians involved.
